Plus Program
The Plus Program is Briarcrest’s program for intellectually gifted elementary students. Identified children in grades 3, 4, and 5 participate in this twice monthly pull-out program. On those days, students leave their regular classroom and spend a full day with their peers in the Plus Program. The program strives to provide new and challenging learning experiences designed to involve students as active participants in their own learning, while fostering the development of thinking abilities, creativity, and problem solving. The Plus Program aids children in developing the skills that will encourage them to become life-long learners and leaders.

Since Wednesday is Chapel Day at the Houston Levee Campus, Houston Levee Plus Students will attend Chapel with their regular class. Following Chapel and daily reading instruction, Plus Students will report to the Plus Room to begin their day.
