Briarcrest Christian School seeks distinguished faculty who demonstrate outstanding ability in the classroom and a sincere love of teaching.  The Briarcrest faculty averages 16 years of teaching experience. Fifty percent of our faculty members hold post-graduate degrees.   Thirty-three faculty members are alumni.

 Briarcrest Christian School was Certified as a 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Best Christian Workplace. Briarcrest Christian School qualified for this honor due to high scores in the anonymous BCWI employee survey.  The BCWI survey has been conducted in the U.S. and Canada for the past 8 years. 

Employees of Briarcrest Christian School answered more than 50 questions measuring how well Briarcrest Christian School is doing when it comes to employee job satisfaction, employee organizational commitment, Christian witness, supervisory effectiveness, opportunities for personal growth and development, customer/supporter satisfaction, teamwork, communication and fairness of pay and benefits.

High School Theatre Director

Briarcrest Christian School, a co-educational, non-denominational private school outside of Memphis, TN, is seeking an energetic, experienced, and highly qualified candidate to serve as the High School Theatre Director.  In this role, applicants would teach introduction to theatre, technical theatre, acting, and communication courses.   In addition to these curricular offerings, the Theatre Director is responsible for directing and producing two large-scale shows — a Fall Play and a Spring Musical.  A Master's in Fine Arts (MFA) degree is preferred, but a Bachelor's of Fine Arts is required.  Considerable resources are provided by the school, including a brand new, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center with set workshop, dressing rooms, and theatre and dance studio.
