Middle School Spelling Bee Winner
Congratulations to Eli Whittington (Grade 6) for his first place finish in the Briarcrest Christian Middle School Spelling Bee held on Wednesday, December 3. Eli successfully survived 19 rounds to emerge as the 2014 champion. He will now represent BCMS at the Shelby County Bee sponsored by the Commercial Appeal in February. Congratulations again to Eli and all of our fine middle school spellers.

Briarcrest Cares is a ministry at BCS whose purpose is to lend a helping hand to those families at our school who are facing difficult times and to share the love of Christ with them. Briarcrest Cares will pray, send cards, or provide meals in cases of illness, hospitalization, death, accidents, births, or other events. If you have any questions, know a family in need, or desire to volunteer for this worthwhile ministry, please send an e-mail to Shannon Haines at email@example.com.
