Mission Statement

The mission of the Briarcrest Christian School Fine Arts Department is to provide a Christ-centered curriculum that inspires, equips, and empowers students to discover, develop, and demonstrate their God-given talents while establishing a life-long appreciation for the arts.

Our vision is to become the K-12 model for Christian Preparatory Education in the Fine and Performing Arts.

The Briarcrest Christian School Fine Arts Department support organization encourages parents, alumni and friends to support the arts through BRAVO: The Briarcrest Rising Artist Volunteer Organization. This BCS Fine Arts support group has adopted the following mission statement:

Recognizing that all Fine Arts are a gift of God’s creation, the Briarcrest Rising Artist Volunteer Organization (BRAVO) expresses its mission to support the entire BCS Fine Arts program by:

· Creating an arts awareness within the Briarcrest family and surrounding community

· Seeking additional financial support for the BCS Fine Arts Programs through

o Briarcrest Alumni

o Corporate Sponsors

o Grants
